DIY Projects

Well, I'm not usually the arts and crafts type, but this wedding is bringing out my inner DIYer. First, I sometimes have a vision that I can't convey for anyone else to create for me, and second, I'm paying for my wedding myself, so the budget is pretty small.

It's finally done! This was a ridiculous amount of work, but I'm pretty happy about it. It's one of those things that seemed simple, until I decided to make all the little envelopes myself. I used a 7Gypsies chipboard 3 ring book as the base for this. I'll be printing little cards (some in French and some in English) for people to jot down their wishes.

 Luminaries

This was so much easier than expected! Took 15 minutes each at most, including spray glue drying time. They're just about 3 inches tall, made of lace and clearance cardstock from Michaels. I placed one of these in front of each vase.

Pretty easy. Just vases from Dollar Tree, branches and dried lavender from Michaels, ribbon, cardstock, buttterflies and fairies from ebay.
